You can give 2000 rupee note in RBI's issue office

The central bank said that people had the opportunity to exchange or deposit 2000 rupee notes till october 7, 2023. They could do this by going to any bank branch. Apart from this, people could also go to 19 offices of the Reserve bank to exchange these notes. From october 9, 2023, RBI's issue offices are also accepting 2000 rupee notes. This money will be deposited in their account.

This note came into circulation after the announcement of demonetization

Apart from this, people can also send 2000 rupee notes from any post office to RBI issue office through india Post to deposit them in their account. RBI's issue offices are in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, patna and Thiruvananthapuram.
