It was a very wet month of May, with over 6 inches of rainfall in Louisville.
The pattern will remain a bit active as we move through the first full week of June. However, there will be plenty of dry days.
The week starts out dry, with warm and humid conditions on Monday. Highs will reach the mid and upper 80s.
Tuesday brings us our next chance for impact weather. Widely scattered showers and storms will be possible during the afternoon and evening, but it won't be a washout. Highs will remain in the 80s with high humidity.
The sticky humidity lingers into Wednesday. This will bring us our best chance for rain this week, as scattered showers and storms are likely. Highs will be near 80. There's a chance for some strong and severe storms on Wednesday as well.
Nicer weather returns for the end of the week with dropping temperatures and falling humidity.
Next weekend looks mostly dry as of now, with just a slight chance for a storm each day. Stay tuned for updates throughout the week.
