A woman was killed and another was injured in a shooting near Pleasure Ridge Park. Louisville Metro Police Department said officers were called around 11:30 p.m. Sunday an apartment in the 3100 block of St. Anthony Gardens Dr. When officers arrived to the scene, they found Jamila Jackson, 45, of Louisville, and another woman, who had both been shot. The two women were taken to a local hospital where Jackson later died. The second woman appears to have non-life-threatening injuries, LMPD said. There are no suspects at this time. When officers arrived to the scene, they found Jamila Jackson, 45, of Louisville, and another woman, who had both been shot.

The two women were taken to a local hospital where Jackson later died.
