June is off to a violent start in the Louisville Metro area.There were several shootings over the weekend with more than a dozen victims.Louisville Metro Police Department officials said in a span of just two days, 16 people were shot and three of them died. Some others have critical injuries. We have information about 15 of the victims. Here's a timeline of the shootings and what we know about each (click the link for more info):Saturday, 1:25 p.m. | A 70-year-old man was shot in the Jacobs neighborhood.Saturday, 6:15 p.m. | An 18-year-old was shot in the leg in the Iroquois Park neighborhood.Saturday, 9:30 p.m. | Two men were shot not far from Cane Run Road. One had critical injuries, and the other had a gunshot wound to the hand, police said.Sunday, 1:21 a.m. | Seven people, five of whom were juveniles, were shot during a parking lot party near Pleasure Ridge Park. Police said none of the injuries were life-threatening.Sunday, 9:22 p.m. | A 19-year-old was killed and a 17-year-old was injured in a shooting in the Taylor Berry neighborhood.Sunday, 11:13 p.m. | Two women were shot, one fatally, at an apartment near Pleasure Ridge Park.While homicide detectives say they have some people of interest and suspects identified, no arrests have been made in any of the cases. LMPD is asking the community to come forward with information. "The biggest thing that we can do is the community involvement," LMPD Lt. Les Skaggs said. "That makes or breaks our success rate as a police department."
