Vaiko was admitted to the hospital for seven days, during which he underwent surgical intervention to address the injury. According to a post on social media platform ‘X’ by Durai Vaiko, the party’s principal secretary and Vaiko’s son, a titanium plate was implanted in his right shoulder to aid the recovery process.
“Vaiko’s shoulder will function normally after 40 days of rest. Doctors have asked not to allow visitors for the next one week to prevent infection,” Durai Vaiko informed in his post.
Following the successful surgery, doctors have advised Vaiko to rest for 40 days to ensure a full recovery. In addition, to minimize the risk of infection and promote healing, visitors will not be permitted for the next week.
The news of Vaiko’s successful surgery and his subsequent discharge has brought relief to his supporters and party members.
