Marriott International has signed an agreement with Pasha Development Group to introduce The Ritz-Carlton brand in Uzbekistan.
Anticipated to be the company’s first luxury property in the country, The Ritz-Carlton, Tashkent will bring the brand’s legendary service and elegant design to the capital city. It will be situated in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent – the capital and most cosmopolitan city in Uzbekistan – near major commercial and business areas of the city, including Tashkent City – a modern mixed-use business district that features residences, hotels, recreational parks, shopping centres, and more.
The hotel will also be within close proximity to popular tourist attractions such as the National Park of Uzbekistan, the largest park in Tashkent, and the Magic City Park, the city’s newest amusement park. The famous Amir Temur Square will be a 10-minute drive from the hotel, while Tashkent International Airport will be 20 just minutes away.
The new 31-story hotel is expected to feature 140 elegant guestrooms and suites, as well as The Ritz-Carlton Club experience, and three distinct dining venues. Plans for the property include a range of facilities such as an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre and spa, along with over 1,300 sqm of meeting and event space.
