The results are expected to be announced on june 4, 2024.

In these elections, the BJP-led national democratic alliance (NDA) aimed for a third consecutive term with narendra modi as their prime ministerial candidate. On the other side, a coalition named the india Alliance, consisting of major opposition parties such as the congress, DMK, Samajwadi Party, Trinamool congress, Aam Aadmi Party, RJD, and the Left, contested without officially nominating a prime ministerial candidate. However, rahul gandhi of the congress was widely viewed as a significant contender against Modi.

The counting of votes and the subsequent results will determine whether Modi will secure his third term or if the india Alliance will pose a significant challenge to the BJP's dominance.

As the lok sabha election results draw near, predictions indicate a strong showing for the BJP-led national democratic alliance (NDA). Opinion polls consistently suggest that the nda, under narendra Modi's leadership, could win more than 350 seats, securing a third consecutive term.

These forecasts have been a blow to the india Alliance, which consists of several major opposition parties.

Despite the grim predictions, members of the india Alliance have expressed skepticism about the accuracy of these polls and remain hopeful as they await the official results on june 4. They believe that the actual vote count might reveal a different outcome than what the opinion polls suggest political commentators.
