Ethiopian Airlines Launches New Route to Freetown via Ouagadougou, Expanding its African Network

Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s most extensive network operator, is excited to announce the launch of its new passenger service to Freetown, Sierra Leone, via Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, beginning today, May 31, 2024. This route is a significant addition to our ongoing network expansion, enhancing connectivity between African nations and offering travelers more efficient and convenient options.

The service to Freetown will operate three times a week using the environmentally friendly and modern Boeing 787-800 aircraft. This aircraft provides a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience with its spacious seating, personal entertainment systems, and onboard Wi-Fi, ensuring a pleasant flight for all passengers.

The flight schedule for this service is as follows:

• ET 943 from Addis Ababa (ADD) to Ouagadougou (OUA) and on to Freetown (FNA) on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
• ET 942 from Freetown (FNA) to Ouagadougou (OUA) and back to Addis Ababa (ADD) on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
