Through tonight: Mainly cloudy with about a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Light breezes from the southwest will help provide moisture and warm air, keeping temperatures within a few degrees of 65 at the coolest. Unfortunately, perhaps, for your sleep and pets, a quick downpour and thunder rumbles are possible even after midnight.
Tomorrow (Monday): Humidity is back, with dew points well into the 60s. The day will be partly cloudy overall; the highest chance for a couple of showers or a quick storm will be from midday into the afternoon, while the morning hours and very late day nearer sunset have the best chances for bright skies without rain.
Temperatures will top out in the low to mid-80s before a summerlike night barely cooling into the mid- to upper 60s. Skies will stay mainly clear after any stray evening shower or storm. Fog could develop before dawn, though.

How are your allergies?
Moderate levels of allergens are in the air except for weeds. It’s hard to say if you might feel a bit triggered by all of these categories or you’re feeling a small break because none of them are high. The presence of even one species to which you are most sensitive can be all you need to feel off.
Tree pollen will probably continue to decline. Here is context for this year vs. previous years, showing with high confidence that we are well past peak.
Grass pollen may have peaked, but a secondary peak can’t be ruled out. This year’s spike in grass pollen was a bit earlier than usual, if it turns out to be the only peak this year.
Mold continues to make a showing, tracking slightly ahead of (higher than) average levels for late spring. We can also expect mold spores to continue to be a nuisance for much of the year.
Allergens may get a boost as skies clear a bit this workweek and temperatures stay warm. Any rain tonight and tomorrow could also set up a potentially sunnier, drier Tuesday as a day for allergen production.
We’ll discuss this and go over the workweek’s weather in tonight’s Sunday Sunset Live Q&A on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and X! Our 20-minute chat will start at 8:29 p.m.
