About A350
The Airbus A350 is a long-range, wide-body, twin-engine airliner developed by Airbus. Initially proposed in 2004 as a derivative of the Airbus A330 with composite wings and new engines, the design was changed in 2006 due to limited market support. Airbus then introduced a clean-sheet “XWB” (eXtra Wide Body) design, featuring two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB high bypass turbofan engines. The prototype first flew on 14 June 2013 from Toulouse, France. It received type certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in September 2014, followed by certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in November 2014.

The Airbus A350 is a long-range, wide-body airliner available in two models: A350-900 and A350-1000.
