OUR MADISON ELLIOTT IT’S BEEN LIVE ON SCENE ALL MORNING. SHE HAS MORE INFORMATION ON THIS. GOOD MORNING MADISON. HEY GUYS. GOOD MORNING. IT’S A QUIET SCENE NOW, BUT IT WAS MUCH DIFFERENT EARLIER THIS MORNING. YOU CAN SEE NOW JUST AN EMPTY PARKING LOT. BUT THIS WAS ALL BLOCKED OFF THIS MORNING. THIS BUSINESS OVER HERE IS IT’S AN EVENT CENTER. AND THIS IS WHERE POLICE SAY A PARTY WAS GOING ON AND THEN A SHOOTING SPILLED OUT INTO THE PARKING LOT. HERE WE GO TO SOME VIDEO FROM OVERNIGHT. YOU CAN SEE WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE WHEN WE GOT HERE ON SCENE EARLY THIS MORNING. THERE WERE A LOT OF POLICE CARS HERE, AND THIS WHOLE AREA WAS TAPED OFF AND THERE WERE TWO CRIME FORENSIC UNITS ON SCENE. COLLECT EVIDENCE. AND ALTHOUGH THE SHOOTING HAPPENED IN FRONT OF THIS BUSINESS, IT SEEMED THE CRIME SCENE. CRIME SCENE SPANNED MUCH BIGGER THAN THAT, BECAUSE THIS WHOLE PARKING LOT WAS BLOCKED OFF BECAUSE OF THAT SHOOTING FROM OVERNIGHT, SIX MINORS WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL. ALL HAVE NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURIES, ACCORDING TO POLICE. BUT CURRENTLY WHAT WE DON’T KNOW IS WHO’S RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS? POLICE SAY THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A SUSPECT, BUT STILL. SO YOU CAN IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING, THEY’RE ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO CALL THEIR ANONYMOUS TIP LINE 574 LMPD BUT AGAIN, STILL A LOT. WE DON’T KNOW SO FAR THIS MORNING, BUT WE DO KNOW THOSE SIX MINERS AT THE HOSPITAL RECOVERING THIS MORNING. AND AGAIN, THERE WAS A PARTY GOING ON HERE AND THEN A SHOOTING HAPPENED IN THE PARKING LOT IN FRONT OF THIS BUSINESS WHERE AT A STRIP MALL MALL HERE IN PRP. NOT REALLY. A LOT OF HOUSES AROUND. IT’S MAINLY BUSINESSES. WE SEE A PUBLIC STORAGE UNIT CENTER ACROSS THE STREET. UM, SOME VACANT BUILDINGS APPEAR TO BE ALSO IN THIS PARKING LOT AREA. SO, UM, MORE JUST A COMMERCIAL AREA. IT SEEMS LIKE WHERE THIS ALL HAPPENED THIS MORNING HAPPENED JUST AFTER 1:00. AND THE CRIME SCENE TEAM, THEY WRAPPED UP PROBABLY JUST AROUND A LITTLE BIT BEFORE 630 THIS MORNING. AND WE’LL CONTINUE TO UPDATE PEOPLE AS WE LEARN MORE INFORMATION. GUYS, BACK TO YOU. THANKS, MADISON. YEAH. WHAT’S SO CONCERNING ABOUT THIS IS THE FACT THAT, YOU KNOW, SIX KIDS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 WERE SHOT AND POLICE, THANKFULLY BELIEVE THAT THEIR INJURIES ARE NOT LIFE THR
