Heathrow Airport Enhances Summer Travel with Relaunched Fast Track Security

Heathrow Airport is relaunching its Fast Track Security service just in time for what is expected to be its busiest summer ever, with over 30 million passengers anticipated between June and September.

Starting June 1, departing passengers can use the service daily from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm across all Heathrow terminals, ensuring a swift start to their journeys and allowing more time to shop, dine, and relax before their flights.

Fast Track, costing £12.50 per person, is available for pre-booking on Heathrow.com. Passengers can select a one-hour window for security and reserve up until midday the day before travel. The service is automatically included for those with a business first Heathrow Express ticket, eligible frequent flyer cardholders, or those traveling in a premium cabin. Passengers can check their eligibility on Heathrow.com or with their airline.

Fast Track offers a premium security experience, cutting down queue times, getting journeys off to smooth starts and giving passengers extra peace of mind ahead of their trips.”

Fast Track offers passengers extra confidence before their flights, but travelers can be assured of a smooth journey at Heathrow this summer, with nearly 99% waiting less than 10 minutes for security in the first quarter of the year.

Besides Fast Track Security, passengers can enhance their Heathrow experience this summer by booking into one of our many airport lounges to relax before departure. Checking in online, wearing comfortable clothing, keeping travel documents easily accessible, and fully charging electronic devices can also make the airport journey hassle-free.

Heathrow recommends that passengers on long-haul flights arrive at least three hours before departure. For flights within the UK and Europe, two hours will be sufficient. Passengers can stay updated on their flight status by downloading the Heathrow App.
