New Delhi: A disturbing incident happened in Indore, Madhya Pradesh where a 73-year-old man named Balwinder Singh Chhabra died on the spot due to cardiac arrest while performing as a soldier at a yoga event on Friday.
The audience, mostly school students continued clapping even after the elderly man fell as they thought that falling down was a part of his performance. Following his collapse, a man from the audience even rushed forward and started waving the national flag in excitement, unaware of the serious medical emergency unfolding before his eyes.

Eventually, the audience present at the camp realized that something was wrong when Balwinder didn’t get up even after the song ended. He was then rushed to the hospital where he took his final breath.
Dr RK Jain, the coordinator of the yoga center, told Times Of India that after the song ended, they approached Chhabra, but found him unresponsive. They immediately gave him CPR and it worked. Chhabra regained consciousness and asked them what had happened to him. They took Chhabra to a nearby hospital however he died during treatment.
Meanwhile, as per the reports, Balwinder’s family members donated his eyes as he always wished to donate his organs.
Local reports say that Balwinder had a dream to join the Indian army but failed to qualify for the test at a young age. That’s why he always dressed himself as a soldier and tended to perform at various cultural events in the nearby area.

Meanwhile, many people in the comment section of the viral video showed sympathy with the deceased’s family and paid respect to him by referring to him as a soldier and writing RIP to honor his memory.
Someone on the internet pointed out that he wanted to become a soldier and tragically, his life ended in military attire.
He said “He wanted to join the army but couldn’t. And he dies dressed in an army uniform, a performance witnessed by many, while being applauded and cheered. These coincidences and bigger plans of the universe!! RIP soldier.” A second user wrote, “Vaccine took another life.” A third comment read, “At least he died doing something he loved”
