The personal driver of mla Ritu Banavat from Bayana assembly seat of Bharatpur district of rajasthan had reached the police station for verification. Where the driver was asked for a bribe of Rs 200 and he was mistreated by the policeman. On receiving the information, mla Ritu Banavat reached the police station and sat on a dharna. Seeing the dharna given by the mla, the policeman was put on line duty.

According to the information, the personal driver of independent mla Ritu Banavat from Bayana assembly seat, Dharamveer, had gone to the police station for verification. The mla has alleged that police personnel Rajendra had demanded a bribe of Rs 200 from his driver in the police station. When the money was not given, the driver was beaten up.

The protest will continue till then

The demand of the mla sitting on the dharna was that till the police personnel is not suspended, their protest will continue. The mla says that when my driver has been treated like this then how would the police treat the common man. The mla also says that he should be suspended immediately. If this does not happen then the dharna will be started again in the police station.

Independent mla Ritu Banavat has said that I got a call from my driver Dharamveer. He had come to the police station for verification. The station's HM Rajendra asked him for 200 rupees and when he did not give it, he misbehaved with him, slapped him, pulled his hair, as soon as I came to know, I reached the police station, I thought that when my driver is being treated like this then what would the police do with the common man, that is why I am sitting on a dharna.
