IFFCO’s AGM is also an occasion where members from across the country voice their concerns before the audience. The event featured a long list of speakers, including Ankit Parihar, Bhavana Gandaliya, and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Ankit Parihar, known for his hyperbolic statements, once again sought the Bharat Ratna for IFFCO MD Dr. U. S. Awasthi.

“There are challenges indeed, but as long as Awasthi is around, all challenges will be surmounted,” said Parihar amidst thunderous applause from the audience.

Despite being a Congressman, Parihar did not mince words and applauded JPS Rathore, UP Minister, for his contributions to the cooperative movement in the state. “I am in the Opposition, but yet I salute you,” said Parihar, looking towards Rathore.

Another speaker, Bhavana Gandaliya from Gujarat, said that IFFCO is an organization more interested in the welfare of farmers than in earning profits.

Many others, such as Jai Prakash Pandey from Kushinagar, UP, Pushpa Nahata, Ranganathan from Andhra, and Bhavo Sindhi Biswal from West Bengal, also spoke on the occasion.

The list of speakers was long, and the anchor, Santosh Shukla, had to request them to give their suggestions in writing. Though Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Kumar Singh was present at the AGM, he was not seen giving his flamboyant speech this time.
