Chloë Sevigny was spotted wearing a pair of black pointed pumps at the For Your Consideration event for FX’s “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans” at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

The pumps were constructed of patent leather and splashed in polished black. The shoes featured a sharp triangle pointed-toe design in the toe box, and they were finished by a razor-sharp slim stiletto heel estimated to be between 4 and 5 inches high. Sevigny complemented her pumps with an oversized babydoll dress in light blue.

Based on previous red carpet-outfits, Sevigny prefers an elevated look when it comes to her shoe choices. Last April, the actress attended Mugler and H&M collaboration launch event in New York wearing glossy black leather chunky pumps that featured squared toes with thick platform soles, a set of thin ankle straps, closed counters and wide block heels totaling at least 4 inches in height.

In 2022, Sevigny made an appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” showcasing a distinctive pair of Loewe Rose Heeled Sandals, which feature two black straps across the foot and an upside-down rose-shaped heel. That same month, she attended a special screening for “The Girl From Plainville” in Los Angeles sporting a pair of sleek Chanel beige shoes with black cap toes. The slingback pumps featured a short, thick heel, giving the star a little bit of height.
FX’s “Feud: Capote Vs. the Swans” chronicles writer Truman Capote’s conflict with a group of elite women in high society. Ryan Murphy, Jaffe Cohen, and Michael Zam created the series. The Directors Guild of America held Thursday night’s event.
