ABC Kids Expo 2024 Concludes with Showcase of Latest Trends in Juvenile Products in Las Vegas

The team behind North America’s leading juvenile products expo has concluded their 2024 event in Las Vegas, showcasing thousands of new items including strollers, car seats, clothing, and furniture. The ABC Kids Expo team explored the venue extensively to identify the industry’s top trends.

“The innovation in the baby and juvenile space continues to be at an all time high,” said Aaron Pederson, President, All Baby & Child, ABC Kids Expo.  “Companies, both big and small, are taking into account what parents and kids really need, as well as looking at safety and design.  It’s an exciting time in the industry and we can’t wait to see what comes next.”

Key trends emerged from this year’s ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas:

• Neutral colors dominated, with a focus on blues, greens, and pinks, evident in everything from strollers to clothing and feeding essentials.
• Innovations in feeding gear were abundant, including new materials for bibs, plates, and utensils, solutions for preventing food flinging, and even heat-activated, color-changing dishware.
• Natural finishes were popular across children’s furniture, from cribs and toddler beds to high chairs, which also embraced these understated styles.
• Leather and leather-like materials added a modern touch to various products, including high chairs and strollers.
• Travel products have become more convenient, with compact, foldable strollers designed for airplane overhead bins and various gear making outings easier.
• Car seats have seen significant advancements with lighter weights, especially for infant seats, and enhanced safety features that improve performance, ease of use, and installation.

The 2024 ABC Kids Expo expanded its scale significantly, hosting over 600 exhibitors at the sold-out Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The event, exclusively for industry professionals, is scheduled annually in Las Vegas, with the next expo planned for May 21-23, 2025, at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino.
