MSC Cruises, ranked as the world’s third-largest cruise operator, has selected Spark Cooperative’s GO by Spark software to enhance the guest experience across its fleet of 22 ships and various private locales. The integration of GO by Spark will improve communication with passengers regarding entertainment, activities, amenities, essential information, and details about ports.
“Partnering with MSC Cruises marks a significant milestone for us at Spark Cooperative,” said Ronnie Farzad, Principal of Spark Cooperative. “By implementing GO by Spark, we aim to make it easy for guests to understand everything MSC Cruises offers. This software isn’t just about improving communication; it’s about reshaping the way travelers experience their journey at sea.”
Furthermore, GO by Spark will empower MSC Cruises’ Group Sales teams to efficiently manage and process bookings for prospective MICE clients (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibits) through its advanced space reservation and configuration capabilities. This software promotes cooperation between Group Sales and onboard teams via a comprehensive event calendar, facilitating quicker booking processes for MICE clientele.
Bernhard Stacher, VP of Global Hotel Operations of MSC Cruises said: “By implementing GO by Spark on our ships, we are aiming to give guests visibility to the onboard experience. Also, the system will allow us to have fleet-wide management of all our groups and event venues. We are looking forward to how this will elevate the experience for all guests and groups alike.”
Currently, GO by Spark is employed by 14 brands across a range of sectors including major global cruise lines, luxury boutique yachts, river cruises, and resort properties.
