Give us an overview of Avinya Industrial and Logistic Parks and its journey so far. What was the insight behind its launch?

Avinya Industrial and Logistic Parks began its journey in 2022. The motivation behind its launch stemmed from observing the evolution of Grade A assets in India’s industrial landscape.

Traditional markets like Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata were prominent, but there was a growing understanding of the importance of structured and organized industrial spaces beyond these.

Coming from a background in hospitality and luxury, I recognized the need, desire, and importance of offering a comprehensive approach to customers in the industrial sector, akin to the hospitality industry’s focus on service and experience.

Having been in this industry since 2018, I recognized in 2022 that I had to build a company which not only focuses on the needs of the sector but also on the industry standards and take it to the next level.

What strategic objectives and roadmap does Avinya aim to pursue?

The goals and vision for Avinya are centered around innovation and creating a distinct niche in the industry. We aim to establish a reputation based on the quality of our work, fostering communication and recognition through our brand and people. This vision will be realized through a commitment to innovation and excellence in all aspects of our operations.

What strategies has Avinya employed to effectively differentiate and market its industrial and logistic parks to potential tenants and investors?

Avinya focuses on delivering unparalleled value to customers through a meticulous product planning and introspection process. We aim to provide solutions that not only meet but exceed the needs of our clients. By prioritizing value proposition and quality, we strive to differentiate ourselves in a cost-conscious industry, ensuring our offerings stand out and bring satisfaction to our customers.

How is the logistics and real estate industry responding to the growing demand for environmentally sustainable practices?

Environmental sustainability has become a pressing issue for the logistics and real estate industry. There’s a growing consciousness about the need to give back to the environment and adopt eco-friendly practices. This includes implementing solar systems, optimizing water usage, and prioritizing environmentally friendly development processes.

While there’s still much to be done, the industry is gradually embracing sustainability initiatives, with many major players taking proactive steps towards greener practices, in line with India’s 2070 net zero targets.

What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs in the industrial and logistics sectors?

My advice to aspiring entrepreneurs in the industrial and logistics sectors is to understand that this is fundamentally a part of the supply chain industry, not just real estate.

It’s crucial to recognize that the assets we build serve the needs of our clients and customers. Therefore, it’s essential to study and understand the dynamics of the supply chain and prioritize meeting the needs of clients effectively.

Thriving in this sector requires building trust through a deep understanding of the supply chain and a commitment to meeting customer demands.
