Page Industries shares up 0.42% as Nifty drops

NEW DELHI: Shares of Page Industries Ltd. traded 0.42 per cent up in Thursday's trade at 11:05AM (IST). Around 174 shares changed hands on the counter.

The stock opened at Rs 36250.05 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 36750.0 and Rs 36219.3, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Page Industries Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 42850.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 33100.0.

As per BSE, the total market cap of the Page Industries Ltd. stood at Rs 40745.38 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 1006.21 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2024, down 18.48 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 1234.31 crore and down 3.07 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 976.21 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 108.2 crore, up 38.1 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Mar-2024, domestic institutional investors held 19.27 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 20.86 per cent and the promoters 0.0 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 71.58 and a price-to-book ratio of 24.05. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
