New Albany police looking for missing 14-year-old boy last seen swimming in creek

New Albany Police Department is asking the community for help in finding a missing 14-year-old.Police say that Andre Edwards Jr. was swimming at Silver Creek near Providence Way on Monday. Witnesses told police that Edwards went underwater and did not resurface.New Albany police and fire departments, along with Clarksville police and fire departments, and the Indiana Conservation Office responded to the area around 4 p.m. to look for the boy.The search is still active.Edwards is described by police as having blonde, medium-length curly hair, and was last seen wearing blue shorts.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 812-944-6411.
