Share price of Voltas falls as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Voltas Ltd. slipped 1.49 per cent to Rs 1391.05 in Tuesday's trade as of 12:27PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 1428.95 and low of Rs 1383.35 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 4.32 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 12:27PM shares and turnover at Rs 9.53 crore around that time.

The stock of Voltas Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 1500.0 and Rs 745.0, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.17.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 30.3 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2024, while overseas investors held 14.7 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 40.22 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 4257.3 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2024, up 58.64 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 2683.61 crore and up 41.75 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 3003.46 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 116.44 crore, down 19.09 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
