NEW YORK – The Dodgers’ longest losing streak in five years will last at least one day longer.
Monday’s scheduled game against the New York Mets was postponed hours before game time. Rain had already started falling and severe storms were expected to impact the area all day long.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader at Citi Field on Tuesday. The first game will be scheduled for a 1 p.m. PT start with the second game to follow at approximately 4 p.m. PT.
Right-hander Tyler Glasnow was scheduled to start Tuesday and will start the first of the two games. Right-hander Gavin Stone was scheduled to start Monday’s postponed game. He will start the night game on Tuesday.
This will be the Dodgers’ first doubleheader of the season. They have lost five games in a row after being swept in a three-game series at Cincinnati over the weekend.
