After the Galaxy S24 Ultra's launch, Samsung released its first camera-related software update. A couple of months later, the company released a minor update. However, not all camera-related issues have been fixed yet, and the company is planning to solve them with another update soon.
Galaxy S24 Ultra could get camera improvements in July
According to tipster Ice Universe, Samsung has started testing the next big software update for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The tipster claims that this update includes many camera-related improvements and will be the biggest-ever software update for the Galaxy S24 Ultra since its launch. This update will reportedly be released in July 2024, probably alongside the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the release of One UI 6.1.1 for existing devices.
Galaxy S24 Ultra users have been complaining of camera issues, such as a dirty and noisy sky, especially in low-light conditions. Other issues include banding in scenes with the sky, overexposure in certain parts of the frame, and an oil painting-like effect in photos captured using 10x or higher zoom levels.

Some other camera-related issues found on the Galaxy S24 include high grain and noise in videos captured in low-light conditions. The upcoming software update may or may not fix that issue, and things will only get clear once Samsung releases more information about it in the next few weeks.
Since Samsung doesn't release One UI x.1.1 updates to its regular slab-shaped phones, the next big update for the Galaxy S24 Ultra won't be called One UI 6.1.1. If you are a Galaxy S24 Ultra user, you must wait for the July 2024 update to see camera quality improvements.
