TAROM, Romania’s Flag Carrier, Offers a Unique Aircraft Tour for Families on Children’s Day

TAROM is the flag carrier and oldest currently operating airline of Romania, based in Otopeni near Bucharest. Its headquarters and its main hub are at Henri Coandă International Airport.

Open Doors Day at the Tarom Hangar and Platform welcomes adults and children from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free.

Romania’s flag carrier an official airline said parents can get free flight tickets for their kids on the International Children’s Day on June 1. On the same day, the company will hold a special Open Doors event, offering children the chance to visit one of its aircraft, including the cockpit.

Kids can visit an aircraft, take photos inside the cockpit, and meet pilots, flight attendants, and aviation engineers.

In addition, an official airline said that, on June 1, parents can get free tickets for kids up to the age of 11, for any travel period. The offer only applies to children traveling with an adult.

On International Children’s Day, a special check-in counter will be available for children to interact directly with an agent.
