Man charged after being stabbed during domestic incident, deputies say

A man is facing charges Saturday after being stabbed during a domestic dispute on Saturday in Wake County.

According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a call referencing a stabbing around 11:40 a.m. in the 1200 block of Moores Creek Drive near Knightdale.

When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a stab wound. EMS transferred the man to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The man, later identified as Malcom Xavier Hagans-Morgan, was released from the hospital and charged with assault on a females, misdemeanor crime of domestic violence and interference with emergency communication.

According to the sheriff’s office, there is no threat to the community, and the stabbing was an isolated incident.
