M50 crash sees huge tailbacks for motorists
Tailbacks on the M50 today due to the collision.
A collision on the M50 this Saturday afternoon has resulted in major delays for motorists in the capital.
The collision occurred near J5 Finglas southbound at approximately 1pm, according to the Dublin Fire Brigade, and tailbacks can be seen for kilometres on approach.
The Dublin Fire Brigade were working to clear the incident alongside M50 operators and Transport Infrastructure Ireland reported the incident was cleared around 2pm. Delays are still being experienced due to the congestion following the road closure.
Traffic was blocked in the southbound carriageway between Junction 5 Finglas and Junction 6 Blanchardstown while the incident was cleared.
There have been no reports of an injuries made to An Garda Síochána.
