If you’re still rocking a “dad bod” as the summer approaches, it’s all good.

From noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 15 plenty of dads will celebrate all the great things about fatherhood at the Dad Bod Summer event in downtown Greeley.

The motto for this year’s event is “Embrace the Father Figure” which means to love and reflect on the role a father plays in families. Last year was the inaugural celebration.

There will be deals, discounts and exclusives for dads at participating downtown businesses during the event. Custom flags for the event will be placed at the businesses to signal deals.

A “Dadcathlon” highlights the day where dads showcase their skills in timed challenges such as assembling strollers to changing diapers at a swift speed. These challenges will test their skills as well as bring humor to the day.

The event will also include a father-child look-alike photo booth, live music and a family fun zone. The zone will feature a dad dunk tank, a pie-your-pop booth, feed dad ice cream and other activities. Individual activities are $10, or an all-inclusive pass is $25.

Volunteers are still needed for the event. If you’re interested in doing so, go to tinyurl.com/5dwncdwb.
