Starting Friday evening, the Promenade at Sunset Walk is honoring the men and women of the military with a whole slew of entertainment.

1. The Kissimmee destination and entertainment district started filling up with bands, street performers, and markets early Friday afternoon, just ahead of the 2024 event debut. From pop, rock, Latin and dance, the entertainment lineup is nonstop for Promenade’s “Memorial 4-Day Weekend” event.

2. Promenade has stacked up its line-up with 23 bands, six DJs, two car shows, venue-specific specials, and more.

3. Organizers like The Entertainment Group’s Ray Stines say they wanted to do something extra special to salute the families of fallen heroes, as military service hits close to home to a lot of folks here. “My father (was in) three wars,” Ray said. “My brother was in Vietnam. My cousin was in Desert Storm. My nephew was in Desert Storm. Lots of live entertainment and things to do. At the same time, keeping in mind why we’re here.”

4. Promenade at Sunset Walk has nearly 30 venues, including several new attractions and restaurants, like Yeoman’s TopGolf Swing Suite, and Lumber Jack’s Axe Throwing Sports Bar.

5. Admission and parking are free. The extended-weekend festivities run nightly from 5 -11 p.m. through Monday.
