Varun Beverages shares rise 0.17% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Varun Beverages Ltd. traded at Rs 1504.7 on BSE at 11:21AM (IST) on Friday, up 0.17 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 754.35 and a high of Rs 1560.3.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap down opening in the morning.

A total of 12,257 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:21AM (IST).

The stock of Varun Beverages Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 194930.05 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 90.07, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 23.16. Return on equity (ROE) was at 29.64 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 286 stocks traded in the green, while 215 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 62.91 per cent in the Varun Beverages Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2024 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 25.79 per cent and 4.16 per cent, respectively.
