Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 214.29 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 13.96 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 10.24 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 9.14 crore), Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 8.79 crore), BEL(numbers of share traded: 6.36 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 5.31 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(numbers of share traded: 4.61 crore), Ashok Leyland(numbers of share traded: 4.43 crore) and JP Associates(numbers of share traded: 3.91 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 10.56 points down at 22957.1, while BSE Sensex ended down 7.65 points at 75410.39.

On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.89 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.77 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 1.17 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
