AgenciesNEW DELHI: HAL(Rs. 4709.13 crore), Cochin Shipyard(Rs. 4255.85 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 3216.44 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 2676.95 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2340.89 crore), BEL(Rs. 1876.79 crore), InterGlobe(Rs. 1868.03 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 1717.70 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 1691.21 crore) and Bharat Dynamics(Rs. 1650.52 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 10.56 points down at 22957.1, while BSE Sensex fell 7.65 points to 75410.39.
In the Nifty index, HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.65 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.13 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.06 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.03 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd.(up 0.76 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.89 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.77 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 1.17 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
