Woman arrested after reported stabbing in Raleigh neighborhood

Police were on the scene of a reported stabbing early Friday morning in a Raleigh neighborhood.

Before 4:45 a.m., a man was reportedly stabbed on Hayling Drive near Rock Quarry Road, and he was taken to the hospital.

Crime scene tape was stretched across a home.

Police arrested a woman and charged her with assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.

According to police, the pair knew each other. An active investigation is underway.
