Best of the Week of May 25-31 includes Greeley Blues Jam, Friday Fest to close out eventful month

As school lets out for summer, it’s time for living easy in the summer breeze.

The Best of the Week of May 25-31 features a jam-packed lineup of events for all ages before two summer staples — the Greeley Blues Jam and Friday Fest — will close out the month.

Saturday

A car show is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Glad Tidings Church, 3425 W. 6th St., Greeley. The show will feature more than 80 cars along with food, dancers and lots of family fun.

Pose and Pour yoga is from 11 a.m. to noon at High Brau Taphouse, 915 16th St., Greeley. What better way to celebrate completing a refreshing yoga session than with a craft beverage? The session is led by instructors and is $15 which also covers a craft beverage. All that participants need to bring are yoga mats and a water bottle.

Family night will offer music, food and other family fun from 4-8 p.m. at Forged By Faith Ministries, 36610 Weld County Road 27, Eaton.

Sunday

Trivia is from 8-10 p.m. at The Tavern at St. Michael’s Square, 2918 67th Ave., Greeley.

Greeley Game Night is from noon to 5 p.m. at the Boomer House, 1024 8th St. The free all-ages event will include board games, food and drinks.

Monday

Teen hangout is from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Loveland Library, 300 N. Adams Ave. The free event is for teens 11-17 years old or in grades 6-12.

Tuesday

NOCO Coffee and Connections is from 9-10:30 a.m. at Margie’s Java Joint, 931 16th St., Greeley. Join area business professionals for a cup of coffee and networking.

Wednesday

Adventurous eating is from 2-3 p.m. at the LINC Library, 501 8th Ave., Greeley. The event will allow you to sample and learn about some unique foods from other countries. To register, go to mylibrary.us/linc.

Thursday

Mike Ippolito performs from 5-7 p.m. at Ted’s Sweetwater Grill and Trout Pond, 2191 Covered Bridge Parkway, Windsor. It’s a free event.

Friday, May 31

The Greeley Blues Jam and Friday Fest kick-off. Friday Fest is from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in downtown Greeley. Alastair Greene and the Delta Sonics are performing. Vince Converse and Big Brother, St. Vince and the Blues Party House Band will perform starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Moxi Theater, 802 9th St., for the Blues Jam. Admission is free to both events.

Pub Quiz is from 6:30-9 p.m. at Big Thompson Brewery, 114 E. 15th St., Loveland.
