14-year-old boy identified as victim of Chickasaw fatal shooting

A 14-year-old boy has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting in the Chickasaw neighborhood. Louisville Metro police said that a boy, now identified as Johnathon L. Rodgers, was shot in the 3400 block of Garland Avenue on Tuesday night. When police arrived on the scene, they found Rodgers shot in the head in the front yard of a home.He was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooting was one of four that happened on Tuesday night.
