HE WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AND IS EXPECTED TO SURVIVE. THE THIRD SHOOTING HAPPENED AROUND 919 ALONG GARLAND AVENUE, WHERE THE PARKLAND AND CHICKASAW NEIGHBORHOODS INTERSECT. ACCORDING TO LMPD, WHEN OFFICERS ARRIVED, THEY FOUND A JUVENILE LAYING IN A FRONT YARD OUT HERE. THE VICTIM HAD BEEN SHOT IN THE HEAD AND WAS BEYOND HELP, ACCORDING TO POLICE. MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS PRONOUNCED THE VICTIM DEAD AT THE SCENE. Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating after a juvenile was shot and killed in the Chickasaw neighborhood Tuesday night.LMPD said officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Garland Avenue around 9:19 p.m. about a shooting.Once police arrived on the scene they found a juvenile who had been shot in the head. LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating after a juvenile was shot and killed in the Chickasaw neighborhood Tuesday night.
LMPD said officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Garland Avenue around 9:19 p.m. about a shooting.
Once police arrived on the scene they found a juvenile who had been shot in the head. They were pronounced dead on the scene.
There are no suspects at this time.
