The apex body of cooperatives- NCUI in collaboration with Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Nagaland, Kohima is organizing a five day workshop (20-24th May 2024) on Accounting, Auditing & Taxation for the auditors & inspectors of the state’s Cooperation Department
The Workshop was inaugurated on 20th May 2024 by Wacy Kent, Under Secretary, Department of Cooperation, Government of Nagaland, in the presence of several senior officers of the Cooperative Department, Govt. of Nagaland.
It is being organized at Cooperative Training Centre, Medziphema, Chumukedima, Nagaland.
The key objective of this Workshop is to equip the participants with the necessary skills to help cooperative societies prepare proper accounting records & financial statements, as well as conduct audits & report irregularities as per the requirements of the Nagaland Coop Act.
This Workshop will also educate the participants about various compliance requirements under GST as applicable to the State of Nagaland.
NCUI’s Assistant Director (Finance), CA Anurag Dang, is the key resource person at this Workshop.
