Four Seasons Resort Lanai unveils a new dining spot this summer with celebrated chef Nancy Silverton, featuring her signature Italian dishes and fresh island ingredients.

Visitors to the Four Seasons Resort Lanai are in for a treat with the unveiling of a new dining destination this summer. The resort has announced an exciting collaboration with renowned chef Nancy Silverton, marking her inaugural restaurant in Hawaii. Silverton, celebrated for her Los Angeles establishments such as the Michelin-starred Osteria Mozza, Pizzeria Mozza, and chi SPACCA, brings her culinary expertise to the secluded island.

The dinner menu will showcase a fusion of Silverton’s signature Italian-inspired dishes with the freshest seasonal ingredients from the islands. Chef Eli Anderson will lead the culinary team, offering beloved dishes from Silverton’s famous restaurants alongside new creations that highlight local Hawaiian produce. Guests can savor dishes like Nancy Silverton’s famous Caesar with Egg, Leek, and Anchovy Crostini; Ricotta & Egg Raviolo with Browned Butter Sauce; and Grilled Beef Tagliata with Rucola and Aceto Balsamico. Salads will feature fresh lettuces from nearby Sensei Farms, and the pasta will be crafted with local eggs, resulting in an exceptionally rich dough.

Nancy Silverton co-owns the Mozza Restaurant Group, which has locations in California, Los Cabos, London, Singapore, and Riyadh. In 2014, she was honored with the James Beard Foundation’s award for “Outstanding Chef” and was recognized as one of the Most Innovative Women in Food & Drink by both Fortune and Food & Wine magazines. Recently, she was featured in Netflix’s acclaimed docuseries Chef’s Table and the Masterclass G.O.A.T. series. Silverton, an author of eleven cookbooks, released her latest work, The Cookie That Changed My Life, in 2023, which became a New York Times Bestseller.

“Four Seasons Resort Lanai is one of the most beautiful places I’ve travelled to. Over the last several years, I’ve been fortunate to have cooked on each of the Hawaiian islands for various charitable events – I’m so delighted to finally have a home base in such a wonderful place. Many locals of Southern California travel to Lanai, so this is really such a great way to bring my flavours of Italy and Los Angeles to Hawaii,” says Silverton.

Before joining forces with Nancy Silverton, Chef Eli Anderson built an impressive culinary resume, working alongside renowned chefs like Thomas Keller and Davide Oldani. His career spans prestigious kitchens across the United States and international culinary hotspots, including Hong Kong, Italy, Sweden, Brazil, and Mexico. Anderson is passionate about the simplicity and purity of Italian cuisine, focusing on enhancing the natural beauty and flavors of food with minimal manipulation—a philosophy he shares with his mentor, Nancy Silverton.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nancy and her culinary expressions to Lanai and provide our guests and residents with amazing new experience and dishes beloved by many around the globe,” shares Avi Phookan, General Manager, Four Seasons Resort Lanai.  “Osteria Mozza will join Nobu Lanai, Malibu Farm and other restaurants as well as our extensive catering offerings for weddings and events, ensuring a remarkable variety of dining options here at the Resort.”
