2 lanes closed on I-65 in downtown Louisville for bridge deck repairs

Drivers who take Interstate 65 south in Louisville may experience more traffic than usual on Wednesday.The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said that two lanes on I-65 south are closed so that crews can make bridge deck repairs.The two lanes closed on the interstate are near the hospital curve in downtown Louisville.One lane of southbound traffic will remain open while crews work to fix a pothole.Officials say the lanes are only expected to be closed on Wednesday.Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes to avoid traffic and to slow down and watch for workers in the area.
