Man dies at hospital after shooting in Okolona, police say

A man has died at the hospital after being shot in Okolona, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.LMPD was called to the 3500 block of Versaille Lane around 9 p.m. Tuesday about a shooting.Police found a man who had been shot in the chest when they arrived to the location. He was taken into surgery, where he later died.LMPD said that a person of interest was detained and its Homicide Unit is handling the investigation.No arrests have been made, but LMPD says they believe all parties have been accounted for in this case.
