Cat Deeley has made a confession about her and husband Patrick Kielty’s bedroom habits.

The couple have been married since September 2012, tying the knot at a secret ceremony in Italy just four months after going public with their romance.

On Tuesday’s episode of This Morning, Cat and her co-host Ben Shephard held a discussion about the key to a happy marriage.

They were joined by former glamour model Linda Lusardi and married couple Emma and Kevin, who choose to sleep in separate bedrooms.

Cat then revealed her own sleeping arrangements with her Late Late Show presenter husband, sharing: “It's one of those things that because of our schedule here (on This Morning), from Monday to Thursday I sleep in the guest bedroom and the rest of the time I'm back.

“Because otherwise I get up at 5am and I want to fall asleep earlier.”

Linda then affirmed: “Well that's logistics, you've got an odd job that makes you get up early. You have to!

“But I do think if you can sleep together, why not?”

It comes after Cat recently admitted that their young son once mistook celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay for his father.

She told This Morning viewers earlier this month that Milo, who was four at the time, made the mix-up as he watched a security video on a British Airways flight.

The pre-flight video featured Ramsay and as soon as he appeared on screen Milo exclaimed: “Da, da.”

Cat, who laughed off the mistake, was talking about lookalikes after TV and radio star Rylan Clark insisted that he’s not wanted by police in England after an e-fit baring a striking resemblance to him went viral on social media.

Kent police had released the computer-generated image of a man they wanted to speak to in connection with a robbery.

And the former X Factor star put up a post online saying: “Wasn’t me!”

The show also said You’re Beautiful singer James Blunt had responded this week with a playful ‘oh uh’ after police released a CGI relating to a burglary in Tunbridge Wells.

Millions of social media users said the suspect looked like the pop star but it was pointed out that eyewitnesses said he had a front tooth missing and was wearing a dirty T-shirt.
