Princess Kate not expected to return to royal duties yet, Kensington Palace update says

On Tuesday Kensington Palace released a statement saying that Catherine, Princess of Wales, is not expected to return to her duties as princess anytime soon due to her undergoing chemotherapy.According to the palace, while Princess Kate is the "driving force" for the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, she will not be returning to work.Princess Kate has been briefed on a new report from her task force. However, she "is not expected to return to work until it’s cleared by her medical team," a Kensington Palace spokesman told the BBC.In March, Princess Kate announced that she had been diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer and that she is undergoing chemotherapy for it. Her husband, Prince William, has been supportive of her and recently reported that she was doing well during her treatment.
