Saylor Bolsters Creative Team, Taps Meehan As CD, Editorial

Los Angeles creative agency Saylor named Michael Meehan as creative director, editorial.

As the first creative to hold this agency post, Meehan will provide guidance to the shop’s growing team of editors, as well as expand Saylor’s AV capabilities into trailers, TV spots and commercial editorial.

Meehan will work on the Disney, Netflix, Paramount+ and Prime Video accounts.

Most recently, he was an editor at Mocean, where he worked on theatrical social promos and branded content. Prior to Mocean, Meehan has held positions at Netflix, Trailer Park and Modop.

Trowbridge said Meehan's “ability to craft cinematic stories that evoke emotion and drive social conversation make him a natural fit for the role.”

Meehan added he was drawn to Saylor by the compelling partnership of founder-CEO Will Trowbridge and executive creative director Emilie Sabath, to whom he reports. He worked with the latter at Netflix and Trailer Park.

“The prospect of being part of an agency where I can contribute to its growth and help shape its future is incredible,” said Meehan. “I'm excited to embark on this journey with a team that values innovation and thrives in a new creative atmosphere.”
