Two men charged in fatal shooting, Fairfax County police say

The incident stemmed from a robbery attempt in the Baileys Crossroads area.

Two men were arrested in a fatal shooting over the weekend following a robbery in the Baileys Crossroads area of Fairfax County, police said Saturday.

Fairfax County police charged Angel Romero Perez, 20, with second-degree murder and felony firearm use in the killing Alder Perez Argueta, 21. Officials said they also charged Candido Perez Argueta, 25, with robbery resulting in death and gang participation. Authorities said Candido Perez Argueta was the victim’s brother. Romero Perez was not related to the victim.
