Yu Darvish’s quest for his 200th win will wait a day, and the Padres will scramble their pitching plans.

Saturday’s game against the Braves was postponed by rain and will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Monday (9:20 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. PT).

Darvish, who was scheduled to start Saturday, will start Sunday (4:10 p.m. PT).

The Padres plan to start Dylan Cease and Randy Vasquez on Monday.

Joe Musgrove was set to return from the injured list on Sunday, but the Padres will now wait to activate him until Tuesday in Cincinnati. At that point, Vasquez will likely be optioned. The swap allows them to fill a hole in their rotation without making an extra move.

Darvish has 199 victories between Japan (93) and the major leagues (106). His next win would make him the third pitcher to have at least 200 wins between Nippon Professional Baseball and MLB behind Hiroki Kuroda (203) and Hideo Nomo (201).
