Chelsea star Moises Caicedo defied the odds by scoring an outrageous goal from the halfway line against Bournemouth on Sunday.

The Ecuador international opened the scoring at Stamford Bridge when Neto cleared the ball after rushing out of his goal.

Caicedo took a touch before launching a sublime shot towards goal from behind the halfway line, which sailed in to the empty net.

It was the midfielder's first goal for Chelsea since moving to the club last summer from Brighton in a £115million deal.

And his miraculous strike was also the furthest scored in a Premier League game since Wayne Rooney (57.7 yards) for Everton in November 2017 at 50.5 yards.

For a player that has come under criticism this season, Caicedo appears to have found his feet at Chelsea in recent weeks.
