For many, it was the day the pain and horror of Northern Ireland’s war came south of the Border. A series of Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) bombs in Dublin and Monaghan killed 34 people, including an unborn child.
It is 50 years this weekend since those Dublin and Monaghan bombings.
