Nancy Jane Tezla (Harvey) passed away peacefully in the early morning of May 1, 2024, in Templeton, California, at the age of 87. Nancy was born to Cathrine and William Harvey on January 30,1937 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. On November 29, 1958, Nancy married the love of her life, Anthony (Vern) Tezla, who preceded her in death in 2014. While Vern was in the Air Force, they traveled the world together. Nancy and Vern loved being stationed in England, making several lifelong friends. Together, they learned to ski in the Swiss Alps, and their love of skiing eventually landed them in Vail, Colorado, in the early 70s.
Nancy owned and ran a local business, Tezla’s Lingerie Boutique, for approximately 30 years until she retired. She loved chatting with locals and visitors as they visited the shop. Her hobbies included gardening, painting, and traveling, and she would end the day with a glass of “Bubbles.”
In 2015, Nancy relocated to California to be closer to her beloved family. She was pre-deceased by her brother Richard Harvey Sr. in 2014. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories, cherished by her nieces and nephews, Linda Cooks, Richard Harvey, Louise Mayhew, Sandra Dale, Nancy Snodgrass, Lisa Masters, and Micheal Tezla, as well as several grand nieces and nephews. At this time, no services are planned.
