Mojo’s Tayyiba Haneef-Parks named Pro Volleyball Federation’s Coach of the Year

San Diego’s coach honored one day after club’s five-set loss to Omaha Supernovas in PVF semifinal game
San Diego Mojo head coach Tayyiba Haneef-Park was selected the inaugural Pro Volleyball Federation Franklin Sports Coach of the Year, the league announced on Thursday.
Haneef-Park led the Mojo to a 13-12 record and No. 3 seed in the PVF playoffs in their first season. The club started 1-5 before winnning 12 of its next 19 games. San Diego’s season ended with Wednesday’s night’s 20-25, 16-25, 25-18, 25-8, 15-11 loss to the second-seeded Omaha Supernovas.
