The Script will play a Dublin show at the 3Arena as part of their UK and European arena tour this November.
It comes ahead of the release of their new album ‘Satellites’ in August, their first since the death of bandmate Mark Sheehan last April at the age of 46.
The group intend to pay tribute to Sheehan by continuing the band they built together.

“The album cover is silhouettes of me, Glen and Ben Sargeant, our bassist, who's been with us from the beginning. Then we have a hooded silhouette, because the air of Mark is still there,” said singer Danny O’Donoghue.
"He always will be, but it's also giving a tip of the hat to the future. It'll never be the same Script. We're just trying to get on and do what it is that we all feel is the next right thing to do and that’s to keep making more great music.”
The band will play the 3Arena on November 15, where they will be supported by “special guest” Tom Walker.
Their new single ‘Both Ways’ was released today, with drummer Glen Power admitting it is “maybe not what people might expect from us”.
"But we’re The Script, and now we have something to prove: that there is life and light after the darkness. It’s why we’re coming fast and strong with that one.”
Fans who re-order the new album from the band’s official website before 5pm BST on Tuesday, May 21 will receive exclusive pre-sale access for the UK and Ireland tour dates.
It will open on Wednesday at 9.30am on Wednesday, May 22.
A Three+ presale will also take place.
Remaining tickets will go on general sale from 9.30am on Friday, May 24.
The tour will kick off in Belfast at the SSE Arena on November 13, followed by their Dublin date on November 15.
The band will also play gigs across the UK, along with dates in Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and more.
